Ceramic Tortilla Warmer

Today was my second time using this it works very well at keeping the tortillas warm and softThe little knob to pull the lid on and off is small the ceramic gets really hot when your putting freshly cooked tortillas inWas just removing the lid it was warm slipped it out of my hands and smashed the lid to pieces a fall of about 3 inches

I bought the 10" and am enjoying it greatly. I wish there was an option for a deeper dish, but this one is sufficient. I recommend this product!

It is a very nice ceramic tortilla warmer. I feel it is of good quality. Definitely for the small tortillas but worked for the larger ones too. Kept the tortillas warm throughout our 15 minute dinner. I would recommend this to my family and friends. I would not be embarrassed to give this as a gift. I am very happy with it.

This tortilla warmer came very well packaged. It is a lovely color and appears to be well made. And it holds up well in the dishwasher. My only complaint is the large hole in the knob. I feel like that really brings down the quality look and feel of it. I did reach out to the company about the hole and they have assured me that “it is normal to have a hole, prevent crack when high temperature.”For me I probably would not purchase this again because of that hole. It is a decently large hole and only time will tell how it holds up. My guess is this is probably where it will eventually get broken.I will update my review in the future if after more time of using it my review changes. But for now even though it appears to be well made I just can’t get past the big hole in the knob. 🫤

I have been using the same Styrofoam tortilla warmer for years! This porcelain tortilla warmer will hold up to an 8 inch tortilla and because it's heavy holds the heat in quite a bit longer. It also has a classic look that you just can't get with styrofoam!!

Everyone who makes Tortilla or any variations of the bread has something like this at their place.I had been looking for a ceramic one and this fits the bill! Its a well made ceramic product . It can store and heat 8-10 tortillas depending in its shape and size . Please keep in mind this is 8 inch and they do sell a 10 inch holder too.I am very happy with this find!

My ceramic tortilla warmer cracked in the microwave. Star Blue promptly replaced the item!

I heat up my corn tortillas one at a time on my cast iron griddle, and this covered warmer keeps the already cooked ones warm. The shallow design limits the air space, which is probably why this works better than a covered casserole dish. It does not keep them from getting a little soggy, though, because of the trapped steam. I solved this problem by placing the lid on very slightly askew so steam has an escape route and they don't get as flimsy by the end of the meal. My husband scoffed at this purchase, but he has come around.

Should've read the fine print :) Too small for the large tortillas I buy which are 10". The inside of this dish is 9 3/4" at best. It's beautiful, but I haven't used it for anything :( I'm the only tortilla eater in this house so I heat mine one at a time on a plate. If you needed to warm several I could see where you might use this. I'm opting for a Pie Container/Keeper for what I need.

I purchased this for warming tortillas. I read the previous reviews, some said that the bowl was too fragile but I don’t think it’s overly fragile. That said the bowl and lid are made of porcelain clay, this isn’t earthenware. The bowl is not very deep but will probably hold 8-12 tortillas and only 8” in diameter so the smaller flour tortillas will fit but nothing larger. I am deducting one star because my bowl is not round, it’s flattened on one side. I was concerned that the lid wouldn’t fit but it did so I intend to keep and use the dish. The lid is heavy, the bowl a little lighter weight. I am sure this will keep the food warm as long as the bowl is pre warmed. Overall a nice item and good value at this price point.

No where in the description does it mention what oven temperature this dish will tolerate. I have messaged Blue Star and no response.Can I heat it in a 400F oven? 350F?Poor product description.

Purchased for our Christmas gathering to use for a taco bar. It worked very nicely and kept the shells warm. Only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is it didn't come with a paper with instructions. I had to internet search for usage directions.

the product arrived with a cracked cover, after a bit of bother amazon sent me the return label, have tried sending the product back at least 4 times, the post would not accept it, was so annoyed that i ordered another one in the meantime, this arrived in one piece, it is beautiful..pity,as the deadline was the end of november... very nice product

The size is big enough to add a kitchen towel and cover the tortillas while they being stored. It looks expensive and elegant on the table. I washed it in the dishwasher without issues. costumer service is superb!
