Hong Kong Egg Waffle Maker with BONUS recipe e-book

It all depends on your recipe and how you put in the batter. I don’t fill mine all the way, which is okay for a practice run. Will fill the machine a bit more next time and see how it goes! Definitely will purchase another machine because it does take a while to cook one

Tried several batter formulation. The high fat batter works a bit better to allow the waffle to release from the mold. The low fat batter sticks like crazy.Waffle does not brown evenly. I own several waffle makers and this one does not brown evenly like the other two that I own with the same batter.

Sure does beat paying $8.xx / piece at Bubble Tea Cafe. Very easy to make. Make sure to tilt side to side when filling. Don't overfill or you'll have one heck of mess. Found by wiping sides w/wet paper towel as waffle cooks, and gently scrap crevices w/ bamboo skewer after each makes for easier clean up.

The machine came with slight scratches and imperfections on the sides. But largely speaking the operation was flawless and made great waffles. A little hard to clean up after so try not to overfill the trays. Don't waste your time with cheaper models, tried and had to return. Just spend a little more to get this one. Recommended

Overlook the material that does not look the sturdiest, and the long time it takes to heat up. It comes with this AWESOME recipe for the egg waffle (obviously i’m not going to share the recipe I PAiD for haha). As a 20+ years-long fan of the Chinatown egg cakes, I give this waffle maker AND the RECIPE two thumbs up.

Easy to use

Updated on May 17, 2022. When I first tried it, the eggs did not look good. In fact, they looked pretty bad. Now I had consistent good results. I preheat the maker for 1.5 minutes, filled the cavities as quickly as I can with flour mix. Close the maker and turn it over. Wait until the green light on.In the first photo, I added less oil. The baking time affects the color of the eggs (unplug before the green light turns on, or wait for a little time after the green light turns on).

I’m really excited about this machine. Tried an easy recipe with corn starch, low-gluten flour, baking powder and it is so crunchy!! I usually cook ~5-6min in total for both sides, and it’s just perfect. Easy to wipe, but the edges are a little hard to clean, but I’m ok with that. Overall it’s my new year gift for myself and I can’t wait to serve people on lunar new year!!

Easy to use and the waffles camenout great! The only issue I had was that the cookbook had some missing info of number if eggs to use in certain recipes so I had to look for recipe on line.

I like this machine! It makes cooking so fun! It was my first time to make the egg waffle, so the waffle didn’t looks pretty. It is easy to operate, just be careful that you should not add too much batter on the plate. Only 70% is enough. Or it will overflow when you close the lid. And you will find it is hard to clean (I did it once and it took me long time to clean it!) I gave 4 stars because it was not easy to clean if it overflow. Overall, it is a good product used at home!

The Waffle Maker makes perfect bubble waffles as indicated in the instruction. I use a Belgium Waffle mix, just added a little more water to make it thinner. It works perfectly - see photo. This is a favorite snack for my family, especially for the children.

This is a pretty straight forward unit. It starts heating up when it’s plugged in. There is no on/off switch. The lights are not easy to see. When the green light goes on, it’s ready to use. You pour in the batter, flip and wait. It only takes 2-3 minutes. Just make sure you don’t overfill it. It WILL spill out the sides. It’s a PAIN to clean if it spills. If it doesn’t spill, then it’s easy enough to clean. I use a oven mitt when flipping the machine. The handle stays cool enough but I have trouble using just one hand to flip it. Overall, for the price, it works great.

Made Rye waffles for a Reuben Sandwich. Was amazing. I like how you can flip the waffle maker like more expensive kind. Only took 5 minutes per waffle. Easy to clean too! For this price there is no reason to get any other bubble waffle maker.

I use pancake mix I bought from Costco, the result turns out well and is much healthier than the original recipe. The waffle maker cooks very quickly therefore don't plug in power before the cavities are filled. It takes just a little more than 1/4 cup of batter to fill the cavities which are little bit smaller than the commercial ones.

The first time to make egg boy was successful, the temperature of the machine is very good, will not burn, very simple operation!

The product is easy to use. There is a light that tells you when it's done heating up. I learned that the cook times in the recipe book are too long so the first few batches browned a bit too much. Best cook time was about 2:30-3 min. It is pretty easy to clean but the plates do not come out so you have to carefully wipe it down as soon as it cools completely.

My waffle maker came in bad condition. There are many scuffs on the top area. The green light came off when arrived. Had to put it back on. It looks cheap in my opinion. On top of that, you cannot control temperature. It was difficult to know when the waffle was done when you had to kept flipping. It would be better if you can adjust the temperature. In term of cleaning, we all know how messy it is to make egg waffle since you have to flip it back and forth. This waffle maker is not easy to clean at all. I got so many batter on the side, still trying to figure out how to take them out. Overall, this waffle maker is easy to use but I would not recommend. It doesn’t worth the price.*Update:They reached out and sent us a new one as a replacement free of charge. We greatly appreciate this company for having this customer service standard.

It’s tricky how much batter to put in and I oversprayed as I didn’t want it to stick. The grease spilled on the back all over the counter. When there is just a little too much batter it leakers all over the sides, some edges were hard to clean

After looking at tons of bubble waffle makers and reading the reviews I decided on this one. I used a recipe I found on YouTube and it worked perfectly. Did not stick and came out amazing. Definitely recommend.I added the recipe I used from YouTube. I cut the sugar in half and the kids loved it.
