Does the job well! Perfect for dorm rooms or for solo living. I use it for my little one, perfect for toddlers' breakfast or snacks. Heats up pretty well and the manual has recipes included which is pretty great! I've been able to make around 12 waffles using about 1cup of milk and 1 egg in the recipe.

As a single person I absolutely love this mini waffle maker. It works well and I can use it for just myself and don't end up with leftovers which I appreciate. Got this for my (12y/o) son who is really starting to love to cook and is currently obsessed with pancakes/waffles.This is super handy, and while it does heat up and get quite hot, it works well and makes little waffles pretty quickly.Depending on your kid, would recommend supervision. But it's nice to not have to wash up a pan after and it's worked with many different types of pancake/waffle mixes.

I love this little waffle maker. It makes cute little waffles and is just as easy to use as a normal sized one. I didn't use the recipe that came with and made the mix I normally do for full size waffles instead. I used the whole mix and froze the waffles I didn't eat. They are the perfect size to reheat in the toaster and from now on I'll be using this to make waffles to freeze instead of my bigger one.

It doesn't take up much storage space at all.The cooking surfaces are non-stick and create the traditional square waffle grid pattern you would expect. There is a small book with basic waffle recipe but I would suggest looking online and finding one that includes a dash of oil in the recipe. This will also help avoid the waffle mixture baking itself onto the plates. You can also spray a little oil onto the plates before you craft your fluffy, waffly delight!This is a 240v appliance and it heats up relatively quickly. Some trial and error with how much batter to add, but go less to start with an increase if you need to. It is quite easy to add too much and have it flow out and not cook properly.Overall a handy little device that makes cooking fun. Great for kids too (with adult supervision). I can hear the waffle machine calling me now!

It always pays to use a little oil to help extend the life of your non stick surface. It heats up quickly, and gets super hot, so you need to be careful, especially if making more than one waffle, as it is quite hot for a fairly long time, so it shouldn’t be left unattended until the cooking is all done and the device is unplugged. While it is a pretty pastel pink, and that will interest young girls, it would be wise to use caution and only allow children to use it with immediate and direct adult supervision.
