Handy easy to move air fryer for outdoor cooking but power cable a little short

This is a decent portable air fryer, and the modular design is useful. Since it is portable, there are more movable parts than a normal air fryer, but being able to swap between two different size glass bowls is a nice feature. The removable heating unit makes it easy to move between the bowls. Just note that the smaller bowl comes with a clip-on storage lid, while the larger bowl does not.The LCD screen is useful, although the controls are not the most intuitive when you first start using it. I initially thought the images we clickable presests but i could not seem to tap them so I had cycle through them via the menu buttion and manually set temp and time based on size. Based on my testing, it heats up fine, but it does not get going as quickly as a full-size air fryer. While 4L is not particularly large for the price, the flexibility of having two bowl sizes does add value. The power cable is also somewhat short, which can limit where you place it, especially if using it outside or on the deck.Overall, it works, but it has some compromises depending what you are after. The modular design and portability are useful, but the short cable is alittle annoying

A Game Changer for Easy Meal Prep and Clean Up!

I have been using this air fryer daily for a few days, and it has completely changed my cooking routine. The see-through glass baskets are incredibly convenient because I can easily monitor my food's crisping progress without opening the basket and letting the heat escape. It crisps everything from frozen chips to vegetables quickly and evenly. I also love that I can just snap the included lids straight onto the glass baskets to store my leftovers in the fridge, which saves me from washing extra containers. While the dual basket system offers great flexibility, the 1.5L basket is quite small and really only suitable for single portions or small side snacks. Additionally, the glass material makes the baskets significantly heavier to handle than traditional metal ones, especially when full. Overall, it provides excellent value for the functionality, makes delicious crispy food, and drastically cuts down on my dishwashing time.Pros:Clear glass baskets allow easy visual monitoring without losing heat.Convenient snap-on lids let you store leftovers directly in the cooking basket.Fast, even 1500W heating crisps food beautifully with very little oil.Cons:The smaller 1.5L basket has very limited capacity for larger meals.Glass construction makes the baskets noticeably heavier to lift and clean.

Companion for Transparent, Precision Cooking

I am thoroughly impressed with the innovative dual-basket design of this air fryer. Being able to monitor my food through the see-through glass while it cooks is an absolute game-changer, ensuring everything comes out perfectly crispy without ever needing to guess or pause the cycle. The digital panel is intuitive, the 1500W power heats up incredibly fast, and the inclusion of the heat-resistant mat is a thoughtful, practical touch for my countertop. It delivers consistent, delicious results every single time, making it the perfect upgrade for any home chef?s modern kitchen.

NB: if it makes a clanging noise, check the fan to element clearance.

This StarBlue portable air fryer has some great features, it comes with 2 bowls and the heating unit can be removed for easier storage. It is intuitive to use, with a colour screen, touch set preset modes for common foods, and heats up quicker than a large oven so you can cook small meals faster and easier.I love using air fryers, and use them more than my wall oven. It's so convenient to be able to cook a snack or a simple meal like fish and chips in 20 minutes, around the time it takes just to get the wall oven up to temperature. The concentrated heat makes your food nice and crispy, and the removable glass bowls make cleaning a breeze (just soak with hot water and dishwasher powder in the sink, and even the most burnt on food washes off with ease). This air fryer comes with 2 glass bowls: a larger 4L and a small 1.5L. Both come with a tray insert to lift food off the bottom for better airflow and crisping, and a lid for storing food. The tray lifts things like crumbed fish fillets, pies and chips off the bottom of the glass, allowing the hot air to get underneath the food and cook the bottom to reduce the need for turning during cooking. While both glass bowls come with a lid, I found that the glass stays hot for a very long time so this isn't particularly convenient for covering food for placing in the fridge. Where the lid really comes in handy is keeping the food warm within the bowl while you cook the rest of the meal. You can cook the first ingredient in one bowl, put the lid on to keep in the heat, and then cook your second ingredient in the other bowl. The glass bowls stay nice and hot and can keep your food warm for 20-30 minutes. The only downside to this setup is that the smaller bowl requires the main heating unit to use an adaptor. At first I didn't realise they were separate, and almost dropped the air fryer heating unit when it separated from the adaptor piece. I have used other air fryers with a 2 bowl setup and they didn't have this adaptor, so I think this could have been designed better. The adaptor can tend to rattle a bit which can be mildly annoying, especially since this is a relatively quiet air fryer otherwise. On my particular unit, the fan was touching the element slightly on startup and stop, so I had to gently bend the heating element to provide clearance to the fan, and this solved the issue.

Great Portable Air Fryer

I'm really enjoying this StarBlue Portable Air Fryer. With its 4L main basket and additional 1.5L basket, it's a great size for one or two people, which suits me perfectly when I'm home alone or preparing a smaller meal. One of the biggest advantages for me is convenience. I already own a larger 8L air fryer, but for smaller meals I often can't be bothered pulling out such a big unit. This air fryer is compact, easy to set up and handles everyday cooking without the bulk, making it the one I find myself reaching for most often. The digital display is straightforward to use and the 8 preset cooking functions make it quick and simple to get started. I also like the non-stick tray, which helps with both cooking and cleanup. The glass baskets are a nice feature as well, allowing you to keep an eye on your food while it's cooking without constantly opening the fryer. Despite its compact footprint, it still offers plenty of capacity for everyday meals, snacks and side dishes.Another thing that stood out to me is how little space it takes up. Because of its compact size, I can easily see it being a great option for a caravan, camper or holiday accommodation where bench and storage space are limited. It's also nice that all the necessary accessories are included in the box, so you're ready to get cooking straight away.Overall, this is a well-designed air fryer that strikes a great balance between capacity and convenience. For smaller households, travellers or anyone who doesn't want a large appliance taking over their kitchen, this is a fantastic little unit. Recommended ??

A different take on an air fryer

I've used quite a few air fryers over the years and this one took a little adjustment because of the glass bowl design. After a few meals though, I found myself checking on food less often because I could simply look through the bowl instead of opening a drawer and letting heat escape. Chips and frozen snacks cooked evenly, and I wasn't constantly shaking baskets or rearranging food to avoid pale spots. The two glass bowls are thick and easy to wash, and I ended up using the included lids more than expected. Being able to cook, let food cool, then clip on a lid and put the bowl straight into the fridge saved both dishes and bench space. The control panel looks fully touch-based, but in reality only certain areas respond to touch. I also noticed it could be a little stubborn if my hands were damp. Another thing worth mentioning is that the glass stays warm for quite a while after cooking, so you need to be mindful when moving it. Storage is well thought out too, with the smaller bowl nesting inside the larger one and the heating unit sitting neatly on top.

A choice of two basket sizes, great for smaller serves or singles!

I got this air fryer because I liked the option of the two sizes of baskets, but also being able to move the food directly to the table rather than having to transfer it to another serving dish. Great portability options! The heater/control unit measures 22 x 20.5 x 20.5cm, and weighs 1.6kg.The large (4L) pot with lid and rack measures 29 x 24 x 12.5cm, and weighs 2.1kg.The small (1.5L) pot with lid and rack measures 24 x 19 x 10cm, and weighs 1.2kg.The adapter for the large pot measures 28.5 x 26.5 x 5cm, and weighs 340g.The bowls are glass, so you can see the food cooking, love that. The smaller bowl is great for doing single serves or for making pre-dinner snacks to serve to guests. The heater/control unit has eight cooking programs which can be adjusted. The temperature can be set from 80 to 200 degrees C in 5 degree increments, and the time can be set from 1 to 60 minutes in 1 minute increments. There are safety switches in the base to prevent it turning on when not fitted to a pot.Top tip: Make sure the adapter handles are to the sides (the same as the large pot), or the safety switches might not operate correctly.I found the air fryer easy to use, though there is no easy way to access the food during the cooking process to flip it. With care you can lift off the heater/control unit and place it on the silicone mat, but some proper handles would help. Despite that, I found it cooked and crisped up food well and the glass bowls are easier to clean than traditional baskets.Overall, this is a great air fryer and I do recommend it.

Practical and portable air fryer

I really like the design of this air fryer, especially how it includes two glass baskets while the main heating component just sits on top to perform the air-frying. It includes a small basket that is great for snacks and a larger basket that is suitable for a small family. The baskets appear to be highly durable and feature handles that are comfortable to hold and use, particularly when transporting them around the kitchen and dining room. They are also dishwasher-safe, making cleanup a breeze, and they come with lids, which is great for storage or keeping food protected while cooling. The main unit is simple to operate; once it is seated on top of a basket, you just turn it on and select one of the eight preset cooking buttons, or you can customise the time and the temperature up to 200°C. It is certainly powerful; I cooked chips using the MaxCrisp setting, reduced the cooking time down to 16 minutes, and they came out very crispy. I especially love the glass design of the baskets, as it allows you to see the food clearly while it cooks. This means fewer interruptions since you don't have to pause the fryer and pull a basket out just to check on the progress. In terms of size, it is quite compact, so it doesn't take up too much space on the bench and would even be suitable for an office. It is also surprisingly quiet during use. Overall, this air fryer is perfect for anyone who doesn't need to cook massive quantities per meal. It is well-made, performs perfectly, and offers excellent quality.

Cook, serve and store in one basket

Watching food cook through the clear glass takes the guesswork out of timing. You can see chips, chicken and vegetables browning without opening it and losing heat, which helps you judge when the food is ready.Setup is simple. The digital controls are bright and easy to adjust. The presets are convenient, though I still needed some trial and error to learn the best timings. The two basket sizes are useful. I use the small 1.5L basket for a single portion or side dish, while the 4L basket handles a larger meal. It suits one or two people well. The smaller basket is limited beyond one serving, but it heats faster than my conventional oven and avoids running a full-size appliance.Food cooks evenly with a crisp finish using little oil. Reheated pizza and leftovers come out better than in a microwave. The glass baskets are heavier than standard air fryer drawers, especially when full, but the wide handles help. The compact footprint suits my smaller kitchen. I can cook and serve food in the same basket, then add the snap-on lid once it cools and store it in the fridge. The baskets are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher, which reduces washing up. The heat-resistant mat gives me a safe place for the hot basket or cooking unit.

Clever see-through design, but the misleading sizing kills the practicality ?

This air fryer comes with the heating fan part, two glass pots, other accessories and a manual ?.Since it's for food, give everything a wash before first use?.The listing images have a serious issue??, they show the big square glass pot at 36.5cm per side, but my tape shows about 22cm at the widest, and because of the inverted-T shape the bottom is only somewhere closer to 20cm ??. I ordered a 27cm toast mold based on those images, and it obviously won't fit this pot?.The glass pots and their plastic handles are screwed on?, not removable. So even though the inside is smaller than advertised, you still need to count the handles for storage, about 30cm total width instead of the 22cm pot alone??.Also the video shows a separate plastic base, what arrived was just a thin silicone mat, which might be handier, but it's still not what was shown ??.Check my photos for the true size. If the real dimensions work for you, then it's worth a look??.Consider only if the actual size fits your needs ?.

Useful air fryer! Love that there is 2 sizes to choose!

A long time ago I owned a portable air fryer with glass baskets that I loved using and I used it until it spoilt but when it spoilt I did not get a replacement as I could not find the exact same model that I wanted as they discontinued it and I only wanted that model. So when I saw this is a portable air fryer with glass baskets and 2 size options with a modern touch screen, I immediately wanted it!It is easy to assemble and change the glass baskets. I loved using the smaller 1.5L glass basket for air frying small items such as chips and the bigger 4L is good also. The touch screen is easy to use and I love that it is in colour.

Seemingly well-built glass air fryer with practical dual-bowl design for smaller meals

My review of the StarBlue Portable Air Fryer 4L + 1.5L took into consideration build quality, ease of use, control interface, cooking performance and overall practicality during testing.Strengths: The air fryer feels solid and is simple to operate. Both heavy-duty glass bowls feature integrated bases and handles, while the heat-resistant plastic mesh plates fit securely near the bottom. The numeric time and temperature display is bright and easy to read, and the ability to manually adjust cooking time and temperature provides greater flexibility than relying on presets alone. I cooked a thawed pie for 14 minutes and it was evenly cooked and perfectly edible.Weaknesses: While the numeric display is bright, the preset cooking icons are considerably dimmer than depicted in the product listing, making them harder to identify during normal use. The flashing of the selected preset further reduces readability. Fortunately, these are only starting points, as the cooking time and temperature can be adjusted manually. Compared with my Philips XXL air fryer, the pie finished with a softer crust after the same cooking time and benefited from around two additional minutes for a crisper finish.Overall: The StarBlue Portable Air Fryer is a well-built, easy-to-use appliance with durable glass bowls and practical manual controls. The see-through bowls make it easy to monitor cooking progress without lifting the lid, which is a genuine advantage. The preset icon visibility falls short of the "Vivid Digital Display" shown in the listing, but this has only a minor impact on usability because manual adjustments are straightforward. I recommend it for anyone wanting a compact glass-bowl air fryer, with the expectation that some recipes may require minor cooking time adjustments.

Perfect for everyday use

I was using a philips air fryer before this, but it wasn't consistent. I use an air fryer every day, so it's really important for me.I saw this one and since I've used other starblue products before, I wanted to give it a try. It's so easy to use. The display is simple and doesn't have a bunch of confusing buttons. The glass baskets are amazing, and having 2 sizes with lids is so convenient. I also love that you can see the food while it's cooking, so you know exacly when to turn it without keep interruptingIt's also super easy to clean. I've been really impressed with it and cant recommend it enough

Versatile glass air fryer that makes cooking and storage seamless

I?ve been using this air fryer mainly for quick dinners like chicken wings, frozen chips, and roasted vegetables, and the see-through glass baskets make it easy to track crisping without opening the unit. The 1500W heating cooks food evenly and fairly quickly, with noticeably crispy results using very little oil compared to a conventional oven. I also found the dual basket sizes useful because I can cook a main item in the 4L basket while using the 1.5L one for smaller snacks or sides at the same time. The snap-on lids are practical for storing leftovers directly in the same container, which reduces washing up and keeps food fresh for later. Overall, it feels well-suited for everyday meals where convenience and visibility during cooking are just as important as speed.

Surprisingly good

This is a pretty good airfyer even though its from a brand that I've never heard of before. The standout feature for me is the use of glass frying baskets instead of the usual non stick coated metal baskets. They're much easier to clean, especially when it comes to removing grease and oil residue, and I don't have to worry about scratching or wearing out a non stick coating over time.I also really like that it comes with 2 different sized frying baskets, one small and one large depending on your needs and allows for easier cleaning of the small one if you don't need the larger one to heat only a small amount of food. The clear glass also allows you to see the state of your food as you're cooking without having to stop the process, open the fry basket before the timer is done, and readjust the content. Something which I've found handy when frying fries as a lot of the times I would need to check if its time to flip them or not.The picture based preset controls are also different and operation is very simple to use.

I gifted the Cheese Board Set to my sister for her housewarming, and she hasn’t stopped using it. The oak wood feels premium, and the utensils cut cheese smoothly. Guests always compliment how elegant it looks.
