Puzzle Waffle Maker by StarBlueMy kids, love waffles, we’ve owned a few waffle makers in the past and this one is probably the easiest to clean. Cleaning a waffle maker is never a good time especially a standard Belgian waffle maker. This one has a lot more flat space so it’s quite a bit easier to clean.I set my waffles on the lighter side and they cooked to the coloring/doneness that I was expecting. I did another two puzzle piece worth on a darker setting, you can see the difference on my plate pic. I would say the temperature control is accurate.It’s fairly sturdy but a little more lightweight than I’m used to. The power indicator light is nice and bright, but the red light is dimmer, I really had to watch closely for that light.I do think the cord is a little bit short but overall it’s a good waffle maker and very easy to use.

The waffle maker is certainly fun for kids. It is a nice design and I like the silver/black colors. There is a dispenser bottle included for controlling the amount of batter. The surface of the griddles are coated for non-stick waffles and it works great. There is a heat dial to adjust for light to dark. The instructions say there is little cleaning needed and to wipe down the plates with a damp cloth. It would be nice if the plates were attached with clips instead of screws, but I did find the plates easily cleaned up. The waffle maker took about 8 minutes to cook the waffles and the browning was evenly distributed with no hot spots. All the waffles released easily and no stickiness. Overall this waffle maker is great for kids and adults too. I think a hungry adult could eat the entire waffle. This is a great way to have family time and that is well worth the price for this waffle maker.

It makes standard sized waffles, not the thicker Belgian waffles, so don’t expect them to be fat. It comes with a squeeze bottle to make pouring the batter into the mold easier. I found that the nubby ends of the puzzle pieces need a little extra attention to make sure they fill up with the batter. I tried using both a measuring cup and the squeeze bottle, and the squeeze bottle definitely gets into the nubs with less effort. I really like the size of the sections; they allowed me to use up all the batter, with the final waffle being just one puzzle piece. One issue I noticed was that the heat did not seem to be uniform across the sections. Some cooked a little more quickly than others, but they were all cooked through. The outside of the waffle maker did get a little hot, so (as always) care should be used when children are present. Regarding cleanup, I was surprised that the waffle plates are not removable, but are attached by screws. The sections wipe out easily enough, but the oil residue appears to build up in the groove around the edge, and I can see over time, if care is not used in cleaning it out, it could become a problem. There is also cord storage on the bottom of the appliance. Overall, this is a very useful appliance that lends some fun to mealtime and has become part of our weekend breakfast menu.

I made egg waffles for myself and it worked out great. I basically put a bunch of eggs in a bowl with peppers, onions, cheese, etc. and pour it in the waffle maker like you want an omelette. I think they turned out perfect and it was super fun to make. I like the puzzle pieces because who doesn’t like playing with their food. This would be great if you have kids or a lot of roommates.

Super product.The included squeeze bottle was a super addition by the manufacturer.A plastic ketsup or mustard container would woks if this wears out.The child cooks own breakfast!!! I am thrilled with this.IT IS EASY EASY to operate using the bottle t o dispense.THe controls work perfectly.I like mine a little more brown and he likes his more lightly toasted.It is truly one of the gadgets that will not make it to a garage sale.We dont use it for the puzzle but it does work.The main reason is they get eaten almost as quick as they come out of the cooker.This looks like it could be a gimmick and perhaps it is but it is one that really works.It is simple to use.. NEVER ONCE burned waffles.. ..> NEVER AN ACCIDENT....I feel that if you have a child that is wanting to stretch their culinary wings this would be perfect.NO DISAPPOINTMENTS ...First rate snacks ever single time.Well done!!!Hope this helpsCHeers

My kids and I are obsessed with this. Wipes clean, small enough to store in a drawer and comes with a squeeze bottle for easy pouring. I made waffles twice this week before school and needing to go to work. From start to finish I can do two rounds all in about 20 minutes. *I also cook cornbread for chili in the waffle maker. Perfect and fast

This is the best waffle maker I have ever had! It is so much fun to make, to eat and to serve!! I love that it came with a squeeze bottle because that's what makes it so much fun and easy to fill it. It is truly non stick; I haven't had a single one stick to it yet! My kids love it too, it makes breakfast fun on top of being yummy! Everybody loves waffles, so why not have such fun with a food that is already loved so much- its a truly creative design and I am sure that you will feel the same if you try it. It was a very fair price too to be something that we all love so much! It even has settings for lighter or darker waffles, so you can choose how you want them cooked!

This waffle maker is well made and sturdy. It has a button indicator light to let you know when the waffle is done. It comes out in a nice puzzle shape. It is non stick. You have to wipe it down after use, not wash it. I really like this. The waffles came out perfect. Nothing stuck at all. The indicator light works really well to get the waffle cooked perfectly. This was definitely worth getting.

I was really surprised at how well this waffle maker worked. It is packed well and comes with a small bottle for batter. We cleaned the plates and the sprayed it with cooking spray before using. We didn’t use the bottle we just put the batter directly on the plates. At first we thought you had to put batter in each section which was tedious. After a few attempts, we realized you can pour the batter over the pieces and the top maker will create the piece sections. The waffles do comeout in one piece but they are easy to take apart (see photo). It was also easier to remove them from the iron. There is a dial to adjust the darkness/thickness/crispness of the waffle and a ready light indicator that will go off when the waffle maker reaches the temp. Iron heats up quickly. We used a pumpkin waffle batter that was a little thicker so the light indicator and temperature gauge didn’t really apply. We just kept the waffles in the maker about 2-3 minutes longer after the light went off. The light may work on a normal waffle batter but for the pumpkin waffles we needed to leave them in past the highest setting indicator for them to be crisp. We normally use a Belgian waffle maker, which makes thicker waffles, these made thinner waffles. Will try again with a plain waffle batter to see if the ‘doneness’ dial is more accurate. One really cool aspect of this waffle maker was we didn’t have any overflow. Not sure if it’s the way the iron was shaped or by trying to ensure we got the puzzle shapes. This waffle iron is really easy to clean. Just wiped it down with a damp paper towel. Great price and good value and a fun way to serve breakfast.

I personally am not a big fan of waffles, but my wife and kids love them. When I saw this puzzle piece waffle maker I couldn’t resist.It’s basically just a waffle maker - that part isn’t exactly revolutionary. But this one makes the waffles into interlocking puzzle pieces. That part is just plain cool.Other than the puzzle piece “compartments” this has all the typical features of a waffle maker - clamshell design with 2 non-stuck plates that heat up, lights to indicate it is heated and ready for action, and a dial for the heat level. It includes and plastic squeeze bottle for the batter.It does exactly what it’s supposed to. The top of the squeeze bottle did pop off while using it, but that part is kind of a bonus in my opinion. Just use a glass measuring cup to pour the batter and chuck the squeeze bottle into the recycle bin.
