Camping Rocket Stove with Free Carrying Bag

Had the tubular model (not collapsible) rocket stove fired up in less than 1/2 hour of it arriving. A wad of newspaper down the chimney, a small handful of sticks on top, light the paper thru the open end then gently start adding sticks into the fuel opening as it gets going.To the people who cry and say it's too hard to light, doesn't burn well, etc., they need to turn the snorkel into the breeze or no, of course it won't draw as well. Thought most people intuitively know this, but there ya go. Add heat, decent combustible fuel and oxygen, trust me, your fire will be smart enough to make the stove work. Had water boiling in about 5 minutes, which was about 5 minutes after getting it going well enough that you could keep sliding sticks into the chamber without disturbing the burn.The construction of the tubular style is very robust, will easily last many years. Everything fit together as it should, overall I'm quite pleased with it and should have snagged one sooner.

I had an older version of this stove (different company), but decided to add another one. Everything about this new stove seems better. The welds are quite excellent, the base is heavy enough to be used even without the feet, the carry handle is thicker. There is also a grate opening in the bottom of this stove, to help clean out the ashes and to add another source of airflow. And the price is great - maybe the best bang for your buck that you will find.The pipe used is very slightly smaller (4.5 inches vs. 4.7 inches in the older one). I can't imagine that this small difference would be meaningful in practice.

This item is very well made, sturdy and the bag is convenient.

Haven't used it yet but it looks awesome and well built.Many adventures ahead.
