3 in 1 Three Slices Detachable Dessert Maker

I read the reviews for this pros and cons. I went to Japan and tried these tayaki fishes. Now of course this one isn't going to be like those commercial machines. Where one can add any kind of filling. I just added a few baking chocolate chips to my batter and this satisfied my sweet tooth LOL. Use baking chips because they melt faster than regular pieces of chocolate. And throw them in a blender or food processor just to quicken the melting process . Add to your batter. As long as anything you add is super tiny it'll work. My experience with this machine.And it was FUN making these!! I even did a special batter for my dogs. Added chicken broth instead of water. Tiny diced pieces of chicken. A nice treat for the whole family. So many recipe variations! I am looking forward to making these with my grandson too!! Give this three in one a try!!

Tengo un TikTok fijado @soulcrowned con receta y usándola, también puedes usar cajas de pastel y quedan PERFECTAS. Los panecitos como de mini pays están ideales con betún, se ven muy lindos! El único que no he usado es el pez.

It works but the plates are shallow - leave not much room for filling.

You can see from one of the pictures that the bottom plate heats up much faster than the top. So you need to watch out for the baking duration and be sure not to remove it at appropriate time. The taiyaki maker is acceptable, certainly, it won't be the industrial grade, for this price. It is sufficient for home use. If you're thinking about the taiyaki recipe, just use regular pancake recipe + red bean paste (get it from an Asian grocery store)-- it won't stick on this taiyaki maker, if you oil it before baking. Great product. Easy to use. Followed recipe. Made my fish dessert filled with Nutella.

This unit exceeded my expectations. I was a bit concerned at first. The molds were a smaller than expected. I wasn't sure we would be able to get a decent filling in the taiyakis. Our first try was a bit messy and was a learning experience. 3 to 4 minutes worked well. Looking forward to the next time using it.

I will say that this Mini-Donuts Maker, Mini-Pie and Quiche Maker, Taiyaki Maker is a bit higher in price compared to others, but it does give a variety of shapes which is fun. I do like that the light turns green when it's done, but I wish it would have a beep or something to alert me so that I don't have to just stand there and watch for the light to turn green. There are switches on each side of the plates, and to remove the plates, just slide the switch to release the plates. The plates just snap into place. He's a pretty fast, so be careful if you want to change plates midway. Another thing, it's pretty difficult to clean if spilled over because of the crevices and the switches space. I really don't know how to clean it out, probably have to heat it up again to melt it and then clean.

This nice dessert maker has three molds, so we can try different cute distinct patterns. We all have fun using it to make dessert. The beautiful patterns also grab the children’s attention, and they might want to try to make snacks by themselves. Very easy to clean. I don’t mind if I spill a little bit because when I fill the creamy paste out of the pattern mold, I can use a paper towel to remove it easily. Remember don’t fill the paste too full, the smooth cream will expand when it has been cooked. Fill the patterns about 4/5 full that’s good enough, then you can get a pretty good dessert. I also put some stuffing in it like chocolate chips and sweet taro and red bean paste. They all work well with the dessert maker.

The Star Blue 3 in 1 Dessert Maker is fun to use. It comes with 3 different interchangeable plates that are very easy to pop in and out. You can choose mini donuts, Japanese Taiyaki fish shaped pastries, or mini pies. I'm going to make mini quiches in mine the first time I use it. Then I'm onto mini donuts for the grandkids. The machine is easy for the kids to help with and make their own quiches or pies with supervision, of course. The great thing about this dessert maker is that it versatile so that you can use your favorite recipes in the machine just in mini versions. The plates are easily cleaned with a damp rag or with soap and water. I'm so excited to start using this dessert maker. SIDE NOTE: Star Blue has great customer service. I had a problem with my dessert maker and when I got ahold of them they were courteous and helpful. They sent me out a new machine that same day. I can't ask for more than that.

The only thing that I do not like this that it didn’t come with a recipe booklet just the instruction manual. It’s really cute and small doesn’t take up counter space. The plates are easy to remove and assemble within the heater. Takes about a minute and a half to get warmed up.

I love this little Taiyaki maker, the interchangeable plates are great as i am not locked into only making tayaki. This machine is very easy to use as its just plug and cook operation. The preserves filling i use with my taiyaki tends to spill or explode near my last batch but these plates are easy to clean, since they are non-stick i just let the plates soak until whatever burned on lets go. The machine itself does not really get dirty but it is easy to wipe down. the detachable pans are nice, they work without grease but its much easier to use some form of butter spray to ensure your items don't stick. I have been using this to make batches of taiyaki as they are always a great snack/dessert, I love baking for friends and i have perfected my batter and filling for the next time i hang out with my social group.

It’s very easy to use! The reason I gave 4 stars is- if you leave it open for too long (couple minutes or so) while it’s warming up, the plastic will melt since it is in direct contact with the metal piece underneath. Maybe I just got a defective one, but either way be careful and keep an eye on it. Other than that, it’s pretty straightforward and fun to use!

It looked easy to clean and I loved how easy it would be to swap out the plates. The reason for my return was that it felt wobbly when put together. I felt the plates weren’t holding as well as I would want hot metal to be.

I liked this maker of snacks but the wife returned is as the cakes it made were way to small for her. She thought it was more along the line of Korean Street Food. There are other products for that. I enjoyed the cakes. Easy to use!

My wife makes Korean style black bean carp cakes and brown sugar carp cakes. This machine is fantastic.

I make chocolate filled pancakes fishies and they are delicious 😋
